It all started when I was small, a quest to understand how things worked.  Fixing things and improving things.  This has been a life long theme that has run through me.  I was always into music.

From the age of eight when I got my first crystal set, followed by transistor radio, then radio cassette stereo.  This led to building my own basic speakers.  I became an engineer and built a career in telecommunications.

 

I joined a maker space called Space Tank Studio in Coburg an inner suburb of Melbourne Australia.  This is where I took many ideas and refined them into the products you see here on 8AUDIO.com.au.

I now have a desire and knowledge to build great sounding speakers that others can enjoy.

My expertise is in engineering, design, audio, electronics and fabrication.  The speakers I make sound great, are easy to use, are made out of wood, they have style and are designed to last.
